Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research.
Cancer Research UK Scotland supports the work of scientists, doctors and nurses in hospitals, medical schools, universities and research institutes.
We are spending around £22 million each year in Scotland on some of the UK’s best science and clinical research. Our groundbreaking work is almost entirely funded by donations from the general public and delivers medical advances that save thousands of lives.
Cancer Research UK is proud to host the annual Scotland Against Cancer conference and wishes all delegates a productive and enjoyable day.
Cancer Research UK and the conference steering group partner organisations are very grateful for the support of the Cross Party Group in the Scottish Parliament on Cancer for Scotland Against Cancer, and particularly to Ken Macintosh MSP and David Davidson MSP, Co-conveners, for making time to play a leading role in today’s events. We would also like to thank all members of the Cross Party Group for their consistent support for cancer charities and the wider cancer community.
Together with its partners and supporters Cancer Research UK's vision is to beat cancer. Visit our website at www.cancerresearchuk.org.
